Solvent Extraction Separation of Indonesian Oil Sands

The solvent extraction method was used to separate Indonesian oil sands.Effect of separation conditions including solvent/oil sand ratio,extraction temperature,extraction time,extraction times and other operation conditions on extraction effect of oil sand bitumen was investigated,the optimum separation conditions were determined.The results show that the Indonesian oil sand is more suitable for using solvent extraction;the optimum separation conditions are follows: under the action of ultrasonic wave,ratio of solvent to oil sand is 2.5,extraction temperature is 40 ℃,extraction time is 30 min,extraction times is 3;Under above conditions,oil sand bitumen yield is up to 20.31%.
