Analysis on Influencing Factors of Productivity of Multi-Fracturing Horizontal Wells

An unsteady-state seepage flow mathematical model of multi-fractured horizontal wells was established in this paper. The model was divided into unstructured grids by finite element. The dimension of artificial hydraulic fractures was reduced based on the theory of discrete fracture model,and the solution was obtained by Galerkin finite element method. Finally the productivity transient curves were plotted by computer programming, and a sensitivity analysis was conducted to study the impacts on productivity behavior curves. The results showed that the fracture conductivity had significant influence on the initial productivity of multi-fracturing horizontal wells. With the increase of the fracture conductivity, the production increase of the wells decreased continuously. The greater the number of fractures and the spacing between fractures, the greater the yield of multi-fracturing horizontal wells. As the fracture spacing decreased, the interference effect between fractures became stronger, and the productivity decreased. The paper can play a guiding role in deeply analyzing the production performance of multi-fracturing horizontal wells in reservoirs.
