Analysis of Basic Characteristic Parameters of Disk Springs
On the basis of the structure and working mode of the disk spring, the author simplifies the spring as a bending thin plate model of large deflection with initial curvature,and obtains a new analytic solution for designing the spring. It is simple in form, convenient to apply, and has higher accuracy and wider application than the approximate solution,and the load displacement characteristic curve described by the solution accords with the measured curve, therefore it is satisfactory for designing low-speed heavy-duty disk springs for dulling and production equipment. In addition, the author makes an investigation in the deformation energy, rigidity,critical height-thickness ratio,self-vibration frequency and the distribution pattern of the working stress of the spring.
