Studies on the extraction technology of Lentinan

A study on the extraction technology of exopolysaccharides and intracellular polysaccharides produced by submerged fermentation of Lentinus Edodes had been carried out.The crude exopolysaccharides were precipitated by stepwise addition of ethanol at 4℃and pH 7.0,the yield was raised from 3.0g/L to 3.8g/L.The intracellular polysaccharides of mycelia were extracted under the following conditions which were optimized by response surface analysis:extraction temperature 92.5℃, extraction time 3h and mycelia:water ration 1∶2.5, the maximum yield of polysaccharides was up to 12.62g/kg dry mycelia.
