VISBREAKING OF THE VACUUM RESIDUE WITH DEOILING ASPHALT

Li Rui(earch Institute“ Petroleum Processing, Beijing 100083)  
In order to solve the problem of the deoiling asphalt application, it was blended in different ratios with vacuum residue in upflow visbreaking process. The test result indicated that under the conditions of low temperature and long residence time, the viscosity of the mixture was reduced, thereby decreased the amount of the dilute oil. In order to prevent furnace tube cokingand improve the stability of the product, the mixture was blended with high aromatic fraction to inhibit the coking tendency of asphaltene and resin. The test result also showed that under the same operating condition, the run cycle was prolonged, and at the same run cycle, the reaction seventy could be increased. This method provides a way for deoiling asphalt processing.
