DEMULSIFICATION AND DEHYDRATION OF CRUDE OIL IN ULTRASONIC STANDING WAVE FIELD

The physical properties of Luning piped crude,e.g.sound velocity,were measured and factors affected demulsification, such as demulsifier dosage,sedimentation time, sound intensity and treating time in standing-wave field, were investigated. The experimental results showed that the factors affected dehydration in standing-wave field were in the sequence of sedimentation time greater than ultrasound intensity, and then followed by treating time; the optimum treating conditions for crude oil dehydration in standing-wave field were as follows:a NS-2003 demulsifier dosage of 20μg/g, an acoustic intensity of 0.225W/cm~2,a treating time of 5min and a sedimentation time of 120min;under said conditions the water content of treated crude reduced from original 1.40 vol% to 0.07 vol%.
