Liu Xin'an;Cui Yuxiang;Wang Bolun;Yang Xiaojun (Shenyang Agricultural University Meteorological Department of Liaoning Province)
Among rice yield variations within the three decades (1961--1990) in Liaon- ing Province. the share caused by meteorological environment change accounted for 30 to 50 per cent. The main climate factors affecting rice yield were: ≥10℃ accumulative temperature. the sum of month's average temperature from May to October, ≥20℃ ac- cumulative during the period of forming rice yield, and the average temperature in the last ten days of August. etc. According to the year's harvest index. we attempted to forecast the year's harvest type and the per unit area yield. The calculated yields were highly coincident with the real results.
