Yield Components and Photosynthesis Characteristics among Different Types of Rice Cultivars

MENG Wei-ren, WANG Bo-lun, HUANG Yuan-cai, WANG Hui-xin (Shenyang Agricultural University, Shenyang 110161,China)  
Using 36 varieties as materials, the effects of yield components and photosynthesis characteristics on grain yield were ana-lyzed. The results indicated that the number of panicles was a main factor affecting the yield of rice plant. The net photosynthesis rates of dense and semi-dense spikelet varieties were high at the full heading and filling stages. CO2 concentration between the cells of semi-spikelet varieties was high, the transpiration rates of dense and semi-dense spikelet varieties were at 4m mol·m-2·s-1 and higher than that of lax and semi-lax spikelet varieties at the full heading stage. The semi-dense spikelet varieties had efficient LAI during the growth period, active abilities of chlorophyll in leaf at ripening stage and produced high grain yield.
