Objective To study the drug resistance of non-fermentative bacteria in respiratory medicine department of our hospital in last three years. Methods 165 non-fermentative bacteria were isolated from respiratory tract. The results of their drug resistance were analyzed. Results 65% of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were resistant to the second-generation cephalosporins and some third-generation cephalosporin, and sensitive to piperacillin and tazobactam.More than 60% of Acinetobacter baumannii were resistant to the second-generation cephalosporins and some third-generation cephalosporin, only 8.8% were resistant to imipenem.Stenotrophomonas maltophilia were resistant to most drug, sensitive to cefoperazone sulbactam. Conclusions Non-fermentative bacteria infection was gradually rising, and they have high rate of resistance, especially Stenotrophomonas maltophilia,in the application of antibiotics shall be based on the results of drug sensitivity test, should also pay attention to strengthening wards disinfection and bacterial resistance monitoring.
