The Skinfold Thickness and Its Variation for Buryat Mongolian Adult

The skinfold thickness of calf,suprailiac,subscapular,triceps,briceps and visors were investigated in sample of 310 Buryat Mongolian adults including 152 males and 158 females.The results are as follows: 1)The torso skinfold is thicker than the limb skinfold in both sexes and the subscapular skinfold is the thickest;2)Females have thicker skinfold than males significantly(P0.001);3)They become thicker significantly after 30 years old for both sexes,but after that,there is difference between males and females,the skinfold thickness have wavy change for males,but for females the skinfold thickness rise slowly;4)The skinfold thickness of whole body are correlated not only in male but in female;5)The development of Buryat Mongolian skinfold is better than Yunnan Mongolian,Daur,Bouyei,Uzbek and Russ nationalities.
