Improvement of Reconstructed Image of Digital Hologram Using Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Light Valve

A novel method for improving holographic image definition is presented.The edge holographic image was obtained from the primitive image by differential operation and computer-generated holography transform.The image of holographic reconstruction was adjusted by adjusting the contrast of edge holographic image and concocting of liquid crystal light valve.The image of holographic reconstruction was clearer than the primitive image.The adjusting function of gray of black and white was deduced.The approximate formula was deduced between light-intensity with gray using MATLAB.The image was improved by this formula,making the holographic reconstruction image clearer.
