A quantitative description method for channeling-path of reservoirs during high water cut period

During high water cut period of oil reservoir,pore throats of reservoirs become larger and the injected water is easy to form channeling-path along the high-permeable area,because of reservoir heterogeneity and sensibility.Those situations have serious effect on oilfield development.On the basis of the change features of reservoir parameters and pores microstructure,a quantitative description method for channeling-path was discussed.The distribution rules of channeling-path were quantitatively identified by introducing the big-pore channel comprehensive exponent and by applying fuzzy comprehensive analysis.
