Objective To observe the clinical effect of nicorandil combined with trimetazidine on microvascular angina. Methods A total of 80 patients with microvascular angina were selected in Honggang Hospital of Dongying from December 2013 to December 2015,and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, each of 40 cases.Patients of control group received atorvastatin calcium tablets, while patients of observation group received nicorandil combined with trimetazidine. Clinical effect, treadmill exercise testing results and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of observation group was 90. 0%,was statistically significantly higher than that of control group of 70. 0%( P 0. 05). No statistically significant difference of the maximum ST segment depression range or total exercise time was found between the two groups( P 0. 05); after treatment, the maximum ST segment depression range of observation group was statistically significantly lower than that of control group, while total exercise time of observation group was statistically significantly longer than that of control group( P 0. 05). No statistically significant differences of incidence of adverse reactions was found between the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion Nicorandil combined with trimetazidine has certain clinical effect in treating microvascular angina, can effectively reduce the maximum ST segment depression range and lengthen the total exercise time, with relatively high safety.
