The diagnostic value of tissue harmonic imaging in neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy

Objective To judge the value of tissue harmonic imaging(THI) in the diagnosis of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy by comparative analysis.Methods Sixty-eight cases of inpatients in our hospital were selected from January 2014 to February 2015 with the final diagnosis of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy according to neonatal press 2005 edition "diagnosic standard of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy".Using ultrasonic diagnostic instrument of GE LOGIQ 5 EXPERT,firstly fundamental imaging(FI) as routine ultrasound examination was underwent to analyze and diagnose recorded images,then THI was applied again for repeated inspection record and analysis of brain image.Comparatively analyze the positive findings of both on neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.Results Forty-five cases were diagnosed by FI as conventional ultrasound examination with the positive rate of 66%(45/68),while 61 cases were diagnosed by THI with the positive rate of 90%(61/68),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion THI can further improve the positive rate than FI,which can increase diagnostic confidence of ultrasound doctors,provide more diagnostic information for clinical,and further exert the advantage of ultrasound examination.
