A STUDY ON THE TOXIC PRINCIPLES FROM OXYTROPIS GLABRA DC.

1,1,1,7,7,7-Hexachloro-2, 6-dihydroxyheptan-4-one(Ⅰ),2,2,2-trichloroacetaldehyde hemiethyl acetal(Ⅱ), palmitic acid(Ⅲ), daucosterol(Ⅳ), and tetratriacontane(Ⅴ)were isolated from the aboveground parts of Oxytropis glabra DC.Compound Ⅰ and Ⅱ are two newly discovered natural products.The LD50 of Ⅰ is 133.4mg/kg which falls into the range of high toxic compounds.
