Objective To study antianaphylaxis activities of myricetin. Methods The antianaphylaxis activities of myricetin was measured by passive cutaneous anaphylaxis(PCA),dextran-induced itch and DNCB-induced delayed type hypersensitivity(DTH)in mice, respectively. Results Myricetin showed a significant inhibition on PCA and dextran-induced itch,it also inhibited DNCB-induced DTH in mice. Conclusions These results indicate that the potent antianaphylaxis effect of myricetin may be associated with the inhibition of typeⅠand type Ⅳ allergic reaction.
