FU Shou-xiang(Department of Cultural Studies,Zhejiang Administrative College,Hangzhou 310012,China)
The development of world economy has undergone a process of culture and industry unceasingly approaching, being integrated and even overlapped partially. The appearance of cultural industry symbolizes the birth of "the cultural economy",a new type of economy and a new development pattern."The cultural economy" should be a "humanized knowledge economy",namely,a knowledge economy in which worldliness and divinity pursue a win-win situation. As member of the World Trade Organization, the Chinese government developing and managing the culture industry, should place itself on a platform of an all-round opening-up to the outside world and readjust and restructure China's idea of communication, institutional shape and legal culture according to the rules of World Trade Organization so as to enhance Chinese culture's core competitive power. The Chinese government should provide a formidable driving force for Chinese culture's construction and healthy development of the cultural industry in the context of the economic globalization by giving full play to the later-development advantages in a perspective of promoting development by way of competition and with the thinking paradigm of cultural ecology.
