Determination of Total Flavones from Lespedeza virgata (Thunb.) DC. by Microwave-assisted Extraction and Absorption Spectroscopy

Objective To extract total flavones from Lespedeza virgata(Thunb.) DC.by microwave-assisted extraction and determine its content by absorption spectroscopy.Methods The extracted conditions of flavones were optimized as 70 ml/g of 75% ethanol to leaves weight ratio and solution temperature of 75℃ for 15 min.ResultsCompared with moceration and ultrasonic-assisted extraction,microwave-assisted extraction was simple and accurate with good reproducibility.Conclusion It is suitable for the determination of flavone in many kinds of traditional Chinese medicines.
