Research and application of water-saving irrigation technique in silted area of Yellow River

The research on the technique of water-saving irrigation in silted area of the Yellow River aims at the implementation of water-saving irrigation in the silted area formed by the practices of strengthening levee by machinery sitation.Through pumping water by machine,transferring water by pipes,and the combination of furrow and drip irrigation,water is diverted to the farmland through pipes buried underground,while plastic and soft pipes are used instead of furrow,thus water transfer and allocation by natural drop is ensured.This technique has several advantages,such as accuracy in irrigating plants with proper quantity at proper time;saving water,electricity,land and fertilizer,and free,flexible,and easy to manipulate.It improves the water production of per unit effectively,thus saves the irrigation investment and has great economic benefits.
