Properties Compare of Alumina Titanate Ceramic by Different Raw Materials

In the paper we use two raw materials which were high alumina clayand TiO2,A12O3 and TiO2.Powder of the two formulars above weresintered by presintering and forming.Crushing strength,bending strength,bulk density,thermal shock resistance and heat expansion coefficient ofthe samples prepared were tested.The results show that aluminum titanateceramics whose raw materials were TiO2 and high aluminum clay rivalwith tradition method matrials,possess excellent combined properties.Due to the low cost of high alumina clay,it were more suit to the industrymaufacture.
