3D-numerical Simulation of Flow and Heat Transfer in Locomotive Radiator

In this paper,we introduced FLUENT software and its work process.we simulated the flow and heat transfer process in the calculated area of DF7′s radiator with FLUENT and gained the charts of temperation and velocity,heat transfer Coef.and the relevant calculated results in the calculated area.In addition,we analyzed temperation field,flow field and the effect of air mass-flow-inlet on heat transfer Coef.and draw a conclusion.Finally we explored the application of FLUENT in the design of radiator made in our country,and indicated FLUENT is an avail tool in the design of radiator.It is a basic work that cooling system optimize and match.
