Image Position in the Translation of English-Chinese Poems and Songs

The most barrier to the translation of poems and songs is image transmission. Image depends on words for existence, but it is different from the character of abundance and abstraction. If you haven't the aid of transform to understand, the translated poems and songs can't keep the complete image under the different cultural background. This article will analyse image from several common kinds of image, try to change abstraction into concreteness, and examine ways to exchange and translation between Chinese and English poems and songs.
