Code-switching in Classroom:Theoretical Review and an Experimental Analysis

Code-switching in classroom is a very complicated phenomenon. It shares much in common with code-switching in bilingual society but also displays its specific features. The present paper attempts to investigate teacher code-switching in classroom and tries to find out its model in teaching/learning interaction. The study indicates that planned and conscious code-switching in classroom may facilitate L2 learning.
