Settlements of Crown and Soil Surface in Tunnel Measured by Total Station

Settlements of the crown and the soil surface are measured by the total station based on the trigonometric leveling method in the monitoring program in Fenghuangguan tunnel project. The analysis shows that this method could be a convenient,efficient and reliable way in tunnel monitoring program. The measured results demonstrates the basic tendency of deformation behaviors both of adjacent rocks and soil surface and the abnormality resulted by construction and so on,which is provided for the arrangement of construction and the evaluation of stability of support.
