Relationships between Parental Rearing Style and Academic Self-efficacy of Miners' Children

Objective:To study the relationships between parental rearing style and academic self-efficacy of miner's children.Methods: the academic self-efficacy questionnaire and EMBU are used in 271 miners' children.Results: ① Boy's score are significantly higher than girls' in F1,F6 and M4(t=2.217,p0.05;t=2.100,p0.05;t= 2.172,p0.05),and boy's score are very significantly higher than girls' in F2,F3 and F5(t=4.082,p0.001;t=3.831,p0.001;t=3.560,p0.001),reach a very significant level.② there is main effect in grade for academic self-efficacy of miner's children(F=3.014,p0.05),middle school students' score are higher than high school students'(t=1.684,p0.05).③F1 and M1 are significantly and positively relative with academic self-efficacy of miners' children(p0.001),F2,M4(p0.01)and M3(p0.001) are negatively relative with academic self-efficacy of miners' children.
