Orthogonal Experimental Study of Gas Injection Parameters in Low Permeability Reservoirs with High Water Cut

Due to poor reservoir physical properties, the waterflood development in low permeability reservoirs can lead to a dramatic increase in water cut, production rate decline and low degree of reserve recovery in oil wells. To further en-hance oil recovery in one of the low permeability reservoirs, the orthogonal experiment design and analysis method are introduced according to long-core displacement experiment. Oil displacement efficiency is taken as an evaluation crite-ria in orthogonal experiment design and four parameters including injection rate, gas-water ratio, gas injection occasion and gas injection slug are considered. Based on the experiment, the effects order of each parameter and the optimal pa-rameter combination are determined.
