Performance Study of Simultaneous Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal Using Anaerobic/Aerobic/Anoxic Process in SBR

Simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal from wastewater was investigated in SBR operated in anaerobic/aerobic /anoxic(AOA)mode.The results show that after the AOA-SBR process was stably operated,the average phosphorus and total nitrogen removal efficiencies were 97.77% and 88.89% respectively.The optimum operating condition obtained by the running-time optimization was:anaerobic stage(including influent water time)1.5,h,aerobic stage 2.5,h,anoxia stage 3,h,static settlement stage 1,h and drainage idle stage 0.5,h.In addition,the experiment about the performance of different external carbon source concentration and adding model on anaerobic period shows that continuous feeding had no obvious advantage over disposable feeding,and continuous feeding consumes more energy.Therefore,it would be best to use disposable feeding,and the best adding dosage was 60,g/L NaAc.
