Deformation Principles for Diaphragm Wall and the Way to Deal with Environment Problem

Xia Mingyao (Department of Geotechnical Engineering)  
Concerning the deformations of trench walls, diaphragm walls, the excavation bottom as well as the ground surface in the excavating stages, the deformation mechanism of diaphragm wall project is analysed and discussed in details in this paper. Meanwhile, several methods and techniques for alleviating their unfavorable effects on environment are also recommended.
