Study on Relationship of Particle Size Distribution of Slag Powder-cement System and Its Rheological Properties

Slag powder and cement, which are ground to different particle size distributions, are mixed in certain proportion. The rheological properties and water consumption of standard consistence of the slag-cement paste are tested. Origin software was used to make tri-dimension diagram, in which macro properties were enacted as z axes, the difference between D50 of cement and slag powder enacted as x axes, D50 of slag-cement mixing sample enacted as y axes. The optimum proportion of slag powder and cement was given with the consideration of the workability.
