FEM numerical simulation of spinning processing for thin TC4 alloy workpiece with curvilinear shape

The spinning process for thin TC4 alloy workpiece with curvilinear shape is simulated by the means of FEM numerical simulation,and the stress-strain status of different areas in raw material during different step and cause of drawback occurring are analyzed,and the parameters are optimized.The results show that stress-strain status is different because of different areas in raw material,and workpiece is easily produced by using feed ratio f=1.0 m/r,position angle а=20°,circular arc,roller working radius R=20 mm and ω1=60 r/min.At the same time high precision products are successfully produced on the basis of FEM numerical simulation.It is proved that FEM numerical simulation offers the instructions to spinning formation.
