Effect of Saline Alkali Stress on the Mycelia Growth of Four Pleurotus ostreatus Strains

The saline-alkali stress testing of 4 Pleurotus ostreatus strains cultivated on PDA culture media was conducted.The results showed that the sensitivity to saline and alkali treatment of the 4 strains were different.The influences of salt stress and alkali stress on the mycelia growth were not significant at low NaCl concentration and low pH.When the concentration of NaCl was above 1% and pH above 9,the mycelia growth was seriously repressed,and the inhibition power was gradually increased with the higher pH and NaCl concentration.There was significant negative relationship between them.Among four strains the Aobai had the highest tolerance to salt and alkaline.
