An Analysis of the Key Factors in Track and Field Teaching Reform Within Chinese Ordinary Universities

The study sampled 10 universities to ascertain the resource status and methods of teaching and examination of track and field classes. The results indicate the main factors influencing the quality of track and field class teaching in universities include; the students' attitude to life-long physical exercise, curricular setting, and teaching reform implementation. The conclusions are that curriculum content and methods of teaching and examination reform and an improvement of resources are the guarantee of better results.
