An Analysis on the Colligation and Collocation of the High-frequency Word Good in Learner Corpus

Based on the data from the EFL learner essay corpus and English native speaker corpus,this paper analyses the differences between EFL learners and native speakers in using colligations and collocations of the high-frequency word good,and explores the problems in using this word of EFL learners to make suggestions for English language teaching and learning.The paper also raises some important issues concerning the data analysis of the corpus-based study.
