Protein Component Extraction and its Bioactivity Determination of Sika Deer Antler Base

Protein component of sika deer antler base(PSAB) was extracted by means of salty extraction,boiling and gel filteration.Five belts were determined by SDS PAGE,and the molecular weight of them were 65.57 KD,28.179 KD,21.265 KD,16.785 KD and 13.79 KD respectively.There were seventeen kinds of amino acid in PSAB by Model 835～50 High Speed Amino Acid Analyzer. The results showed that PSAB can protract the swimming time(P0.001) and strengthen the function of adrenal gland and hematopoiesis(P0.05).PSAB also stimulated the stress resistence white rats in painting(P0.05),and can raise the number of red cell,the content of hemoglobin of white rats(P0.05). The results showed that PSAB possessed the functions of nourishing and strengthening body,developing immunity from disease,resisting inflammation and enriching blood.It is one of the principal active component of the Sika deer antler base.
