Objective Molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction was used to detect trace 17β-estradiol(E2)in food samples. Methods E2-imprinted molecularly imprinted polymers prepared by modified precipitation method were used as SPE sorbents for selectively trapping and pre-concentration of 17β-estradiol from different food samples.High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to detect the extracted E2.Results Trace(0.116-0.461 nmol/kg)E2 in different dairy and meat samples could be detected accurately when large amount of sample(500 g)was analyzed. Conclusion Molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction is a reliable method to detect trace E2 in food samples with high accuracy and repeatability.
