Strategy of hearing-speech rehabilitation for pre-aging users with cochlear implant

Objective To discuss the methods and skills of mapping and the strategy of speech rehabilitation for post-lingually deaf pre-aging adult who speak dialect with cochlear implant. Method To setup the indlividual training mode, combining with the key method for children rehabilitation and characteristic of post-lingually deaf. Result Instruct the patient to response to the stimulation of cochlear implantation and do hearing-speech rehabilitation via multi-methods. It was necessary to direct their family members to take part in the training team. Make the patient well understand all rehabilitation steps to improve hearing and speech perception abilities. Conclusion Training methods could refer to the training mode of children for the special group with cochlear implant. It is a very important step that family member take part in the training program for elder user with cochlear implantation to getting most effective rehabilitation. "
