THE SPACE ANALYSIS OF FRAME BRACING STRUCTURE IN SOFT SOIL DEEP EXCAVATION USING FINITE ELEMENT SUB-STRUCTURE COMPUTTING TECHNIQUE

In this, paper, some models for numerical calculation in the design of frame bracing structure in deep excavation are re viewed. Meantitme, the compatible space computation model for frame bracing system is proposed based on the finite elementsub-structure computing techniqUu. A program for finite element analysis of this model is developed. With the application ofthe method to a practical engineering project, it is indicatal that the suggested model can be used to simulate the excavationprocess with high efficiency and give good results in the stress and deformation distributions of the braced supporting struture.
