The volatile oil was extracted from Fructus clausenae Lanii.By steam distillation and were analysed with the optimum separating and analyzing conditions by GC-MS,then the percenting content of composition of volatile oil were determined by normalization method by GC.And the constituents were idendfied by GC-MS,43 components were separated and identified which accounted for over 83 15% of total volatile oil.The method is stable,reliable and reproducible,and suitablefor the chemical constituent analysis of volatile oil from Chinese medicinal.By analyzing the volatile oil of Fructus clausenae Lanii,the scientific foundations were provided more further to exploit and utilize Fructus clausenae Lanii and Clausena lansium(Lour.).
