STUDIES ON THE PHENYLPROPANOIDS FROM CARAGANA ROSEA

Nine phenylpropanoids were isolated from the chloroform fraction of the stems of Caragana rosea. On the basis of spectroscopic(UV,IR,MS,1D and 2D NMR) analysis and physiochemical properties,their structures were identified respectively as cinnamic acid,(±)-lariciresinol,(±)-5,5′-dimethoxy-lariciresinol,(±)-lyoniresinol,(±)-pinoresinol,(±)-syringaresinol,(±)-ficusesquilignan A,(±)-buddlenol C and(±)-buddlenol D. All of the compounds were isolated from Caragana rosea for the first time.
