Secondary Metabolites from Marine Fungus Fusarium sp.

Five compounds were isolated and purified from the mycelia of marine fungus Fusarium sp.by using silica gel,Sephadex LH-20,open ODS column chromatography and HPLC.On the basis of spectral data and physicochemical properties,their structures were elucidated as 3β,15β-dihydroxyl-(22E,24R)-ergosta-5,8(14),22-triene-7-one(1),3β,5α,9α-trihydroxyl-(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-6-one(2),(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-3β,5α,6β-triol(3),5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol(4),and amber acid(5).Compounds 1 and 2 were isolated for the first time from this genus of marine fungus.
