RESERVOIR FRACTURE DISTRIBUTION LAW OF KUCHE DEPRESSION IN TALIMU BASIN

The reservoir fracture development char acteristics of Kuche Depression in Talimu Basin were com prehensively analyzed in light of the core, log and outcrop data and the Cretaceous reservoir fracture distribution law was predicted by use of numerical simulation method. There are northwest-southeast, northeast-southwest and approxi mate north-south tectonic fractures with medium-high dip angles in the depression. Vertically, the fractures are well developed in the Triassic, the Ahe Formation of Lower Ju rassic, the Bashijiqike Formation of Lower Cretaceous and the Kumugeliemu Group of Lower Tertiary and the degree of development of fractures is controlled by the lithology and thickness of stata. Laterally, the Lower Cretaceous fracture development area is mainly distributed in Kelasu-Yiqikelike structural belt; the Lower Tertiary fracture development ar ea in Kelasu ?Dabei structural belt; and, in Yinan structural belt, the fractures are relatively developed in the Triassic, the Middle-Lower Jurassic and the Jidike Formation of Up per Tertiary.
