Effects of Site Condition on Growth and Spatial Differences of Soil Nutrient in Populus simonii Carr. Plantations

We choosed 3 types Populus simonii Carr.artificial forest in northeast highland of Maowusu area for research,effects of site condition on growth and spatial differences of soil nutrient in Populus simonii Carr.plantations were studied.The results indicated that the effects of site condition on growth of P.simonii and Slix psammophila is notability.The growth of P.simonii artificial forest all indicated slope bottom slope peak ≥ slope middle.The mixed forest of P.simonii and Caragana intermedia growth better than the other two types forest.The content of soil organic is higher in slope bottom soil layer(0.57%~1.09%) in P.simonii artificial forest,which is lower in slope middle and slope peak(0.36%~1.07% and 32%~0.82%,respectively).This is correlation with that the vegetation growth better.There is fluctuate pattern decreasing trend in content of soil organic in different slope condition.The content is high in 0~10 cm soil layer,0.63%~1.09%.The content of available N,available P and available K is high in slope middle,18.82~66.63mg/kg、24.07~90.06 mg/kg and 51.94~190.24 mg/kg,respectively.This is correlation with that the vegetation growth worse.But that is higher in slope peak and slope bottom.There is great difference on vertical variety trend in available N,available P and available K in different slope condition.In addition,the average content of soil nutrient is great in the mixed forest of P.simonii and C.intermedia,the content of soil organic is 0.81%,available N 33.84 mg/kg,available P 49.03 mg/kg,available K 104.14 mg/kg.
