Study on the Activity Degree Aoning of Debris Flows in Yunnan

A mathematical statistc method has been used to descuss the assessment methods of the activity degree zoning of debrisnows,The Yunnan area of 384 000km ̄2 was divided into 903rectangle areas by using the boundary of 1: 50 000 topographic maps,According to the calculat-ing results,this paper uses.four grade systems to evaluate the activity degree of debris flows inevery rectangle area,and then got the 11 different risk degree regions for debris flow,The assess-ment results show that the high activity degree area takes up 11.07%of total area of Yunnan,the nuddle does 42.96%,the lower does 33.45%and the almost no activity does 12.41%, Atlast, the calculating and synthetic analysis according to evaluate the risk conditions of 17 districtsof Yunnan province have been taken, which will provide a scientific guide to the governmentwhen they formulate a plan for reducing debris flow hazards.
