The contents and proporation of organic P,and inorganic P, and P adsorption-desorption characteristics of urban soils in Nanjing were studied. The results indicated that:with the increase of soil total P content, the content of soil Al-P,Fe-P,Ca-P and the raito of Al-P to total P increased, and the ratio of organic P to total P,the ratio of Fe-P to total P decreased.Urban soils in Nanjing had lower P adsorption amount, higher P desorption amount and higher P desorption ratio as compared with non-urban natural soils. The high content and proporation of Al-P,low P adsorption capacity and high P desorption ratio led to high P concentration in groundwater.
