Research Advances in Distribution Characteristics and the Influence Mechanism of the Wetland Soil Sulfur

As the fourth vital nutrient element after nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, sulfur plays an important role in the process of plant growth and development and in maintaining the healthy development of the biogeochemical cycling. This paper summarized the distribution and characteristics of sulfur and its influence factors in the wetland ecosystem through the comparison with the research results reported by different scholars, and also summarized the weak situation of researches on sulfur cycling at present, and further developing in the future. All these would provide the basis for the next focal research on the distribution state and the migration transformation rule of the wetland soil sulfur.
