Studies on Water Cycle and Its Availability of Latored Soils in Hills of South Subtropics──Ⅵ.The Energy Changes and Its Distribution Regularity of Latored Soils-Fruit Bearing Trees-Atmosphere

Based on field measurement data, the paper discusses the energg changes and its distribution regularity of latored soils-fruit bearing trees-atrmosphere in the south subtropics. Results show that, the matric potential of soil water presented obvious annual changes, which indicated clear wet and dry seasons being existent within a year; the leaf water potential varied with the changes in soil and atmosphere water potential, atmosphere temperature and relative humidity, the change in leaf water potential being greater for lychee and lungan than that for mango. For the measured lychee, mango and lungan the energy decreased by 0.906 3~1.742 8 MPa, 0.281 8~0.697 8Mpa and 0.290 4~1.870 7 Mpa respectively while water transfered from soil to root epidermis and then to leaf through stem; the energy decreased by 15. 149 1~57.366 9 MPa,15.449 1~58.403 6 MPa and 14.5824~56.953 6 MPa respectively while water transfered from leaf to atmosphere. It can be found that more energy is needed when water transfers from leaf to atmosphere in latored soils-fruit bearing trees- atmosphere continuum in the south subtropics.
