Contents of Heavy Metals in Soils of the Vegetable Bases of Chongqing

:The analysis of the contents of heavy metals in soil samples of the vegetable bases of Chongqing comes to a conclution that the average contents of heavy metals in the soils are as follows: Hg 0.185, Cd 0.231, Pb 21.09, As 7.03, Cr 47.92 mg/kg; the soils in the part of the vegetable bases of Chongqing are contaminated, the main contaminants are Hg and Cd. The pollution degree in suburbs is higher than in industrial area and the latter is higher than in the distant suburbs.
