New Technology for Treating High H_2S Produced Water and Flash Gas

The produced water from feed gas separator in high H2 S gas gathering station will produce a lot of toxic gas in the process of low pressure flash. Application of conventional combustion emission way in such gas treatment will produce SO2 concentration far exceeding requirements specified in relative national standards. Applied is such software as HYSYS and PROMAX for modeling analysis on relationship between H2 S content of flash gas and feed gas in produced water,obtained is the SO2 concentration through theoretical calculation and it is proposed that metal diaphragm compressor is adopted to pressurize sour gas produced in flash process,such as H2 S,make it flow back to the feed gas pipeline and transport it together with feed gas to gas purification plant for sulfur removal and sulfur recovery. This process can achieve zero emission of flash gas in high H2 S gas field gathering station.
