A Textual Research on Four Collections Written by Scholars of the Han Dynasty and Printed in the Ming Dynasty
A textual research on four collections written by Jia Yi, Dongfang Shuo, Dong Zhongshu and Yang Xiong and printed in the Ming dynasty shows that the four collections aren't the original texts in the Six Dynasties and those spreading after the Sui and Tang dynasties. The differences lie in aspects of contents, volumes and the composition of collections. It not only reveals texts of the collections in different times, but also reflects evolving ideas of collection compiling, which include three features of integration, accumulation and purity.
