Research review on solid phase graft modification of polypropylene

Several techniques may be used for polypropylene modification,e.g.,solution process,melt process and solid phase graft copolymerization process,in which solid phase grafting is considered to be a high efficient and energy conserving method.Latest advances in the research of solid phase graft modification of polypropylene were reviewed in this paper.The influences of different factors,such as polypropylene structure,tacticity,particle diameters and porosity,were introduced.The effects of solid phase graft polypropylene system,including graft monomer,initiator and interfacial agent,as well as reaction technics were also discussed.
